Woodland, CA (August 19, 2019) – Nugget Markets is proud to join Yolo Food Bank in celebrating the Grand Opening and Open House of their new, expanded facility in Woodland, California. As part of their ongoing support of the food bank, Nugget Markets is contributing $100,000 over three years to the End Hunger Yolo capital campaign which funded the new building. The Grand Opening is a free, family-friendly event that will take place Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 233 Harter Avenue and will include tours, activities and a ribbon cutting.

As the holiday season approaches, Unitrans and Nugget Markets are proud to host a “Stuff a Bus” holiday food drive to support the Yolo County Food Bank and UC Davis Food Pantry.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our services into the West Roseville community,” Stille said. “We believe the expansion into the Campus Oaks development will be a perfect fit for both the community and our company.”
This year, Nugget Markets’ executive chef, Stazi Dulman, crafted the gourmet, multi-course menu featuring fresh seasonal dishes like grilled eggplant “caviar” crostini, chilled melon soup, grilled marinated leg of lamb and a seasonal berry trifle.

Our Solid Waste Utility operates a specially designed commercial organic waste collection truck that stops three times a week at Nugget Market, each time collecting at least two cubic yards of food waste.
