A Letter From Our President: Dedicated Senior Shopping Hours

    Good morning, Nugget Markets guests,

I would like to share with you a few new policy changes and store updates as we navigate through the implications of COVID-19. First, I would like to thank everyone for your patience and kind words to our team. During these trying times, a little kindness goes a long way!

I am happy to announce our new Dedicated Senior Shopping Hours. Going forward, every Tuesday and Thursday morning from store opening until 8 a.m. will be temporarily designated as shopping time specifically for our guests who are 65+ and those who are at-risk due to health conditions. I ask that all of our other guests please be mindful of those in need and reserve this time for our senior citizens and other at-risk members of our community. I thank everyone in advance for their help and understanding.

I would also like to ask our guests to be mindful of social distancing—whenever possible, please keep approximately 6 feet away from other guests. Social distancing will play a huge role in curtailing the spread of COVID-19. Please do your part and help keep others safe. Remember, we are all in this together!

Even with our new Dedicated Senior Shopping Hours, the best way to keep our seniors and at-risk neighbors safe is to help them out! Offering to run to the grocery store for them, to make them a meal or to go for a walk with them (keeping 6 feet apart!) are just a few suggestions. It is my hope that as an outcome of this whole situation, kindness and compassion come shining through, and the world actually becomes a kinder place.

    Keeping fingers crossed,

    Eric Stille

    Dear Nugget Markets Guests,

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times. I am so proud of our teams; they have truly been doing their best to serve you, from continuous intensive cleaning and sanitizing, to stocking shelves around the clock, preparing food and baked goods, and helping you in any way they can.

I also want to assure you that we will always be here for you. Even during “temporary lockdowns” or times of “shelter-in-place,” we and others offering necessary services will be open to serve you! Please do not panic buy; we all need to work together and we will get through this. Let’s remain calm and come together as a community and look out for one another, especially our elderly and health-challenged neighbors.

A Letter from Our President: How Nugget Markets is Safeguarding Health & Safety

    Dear Nugget Markets Guests,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well. Here at Nugget Markets, our hearts go out to all those affected by the Coronavirus. I wanted to take a moment to share with you what steps we are taking to minimize exposure to the COVID-19 virus at our stores, because your health and safety is our priority.

We have placed maximum emphasis on sanitizing and disinfecting our stores by implementing a continuous cleaning regimen throughout the day. Our check-out areas and seating areas are disinfected every 30 minutes. Every two hours, all door handles, service counters and all “high-touch” areas in our stores are sanitized with medical-grade disinfectant. As always, our stores go through a rigorous deep cleaning every night.

In addition, all of our associates, both full and part-time, have paid sick leave and PTO (personal time off). Our Nugget Markets family is watching over one another and if anyone is feeling sick, they are given the direction to go home, rest up and get well. We greatly appreciate your trust and patronage, and we will not let you down during these trying times!

    Take care and be safe,

    Eric Stille
