Bacon & Blue Cheese Wedge Salad

You can go wrong with this tasty take on an old-time classic, especially with homemade dressing!
Ingredients
Dressing:
- ⅔ cup mayonnaise
- ⅔ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- ¼ cup minced green onions
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
Salad:
- 1 large head iceberg lettuce, quartered
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1 pound bacon, chopped and cooked until crispy
- 1 small red onion, shaved thin
- 2 green onions, sliced thin on the bias
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
Preparation
For the dressing, combine all ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed until smooth.
For the salad, split the iceberg quarters in half and place on chilled plates. Top with blue cheese crumbles, bacon bits, red and green onions, and tomatoes.
Serve immediately with dressing on the side or drizzled on top.
