Infused Whipped Cream Five Ways

Infusing whipped cream adds an extra dimension of flavor to any dessert. Try these five flavor combos, or get creative and make your own.
Ingredients
Honey Lavender Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons dry lavender
- 2 tablespoons honey
Mint Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 sprigs mint leaves, picked and chopped
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ vanilla bean, split lengthwise, seeds scraped out and reserved
Orange Cinnamon Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cinnamon stick, toasted at 400°F for 5 minutes
- 4 strips of orange peel
Bourbon Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon Larceny Bourbon
Preparation
Mix together chosen ingredients in a storage container. Refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours or overnight to allow flavors to infuse (unless making Bourbon Whipped Cream, which may be used immediately). Strain out the solids, then whip cream to soft peaks.
