For a fun and flavorful dinner in a flash, doctor up a frozen pizza with our Meat Department's handcrafted sausage plus fresh greens for the finishing touch.
- 1 frozen cheese or Margherita pizza
- 4–6 ounces Fresh to Market Hot Italian Sausage, bulk or link
- 2 ounces arugula
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
Preheat oven according to pizza package instructions.
Distribute sausage over entire pizza in ½-teaspoon portions, then bake per package instructions, or until sausage is cooked through.
Toss arugula with olive oil and salt, then use to top cooked pizza.
